Bashkiria plans to retain the right to repurchase the sold block of shares of Bashneft after overcoming the negative consequences of sanctions in the oil sector. Government of Bashkortostan intends to include 11,303,564 shares of Bashneft, which is 6.36% of the authorized capital of the oil company, in the privatization plan of the republican state property for 2024-2026. At the moment, Bashkiria owns a blocking stake of 25% +1 share.
