First Solar is investing $1.2 billion to expand its U.S. solar module production to 4.4 GW by 2025. Company intends to build at southeastern U.S. its fourth fully vertically integrated 3.5 GW plant and cost of about $1 billion. Another $185 million First Solar will invest in upgrading and adding 0.9 GW of capacity to Northwest Ohio manufacturing complex.
